LAHF are looking for arts and health practitioners for workshops

Following a couple of sucessful sessions LAHF are looking to expand our training and workshops in arts and health to primary care trusts in London. The sessions so far have been aimed at all levels of staff from trainee GPs to practice managers.

The aim of these sessions is to give PCT staff a good overall understanding of arts and health and how it may benefit patients, particulalry when social prescribing becomes more ingrained in practices. We also want to give attendees a taster of what is available and encourage staff to consider creativity as part of their wellbeing plans.

We are looking for practitioners of any arts in health form to work with us on a freelance basis as and when we have suitable sessions booked in. The practioners will need to plan and deliver a workshop to a group for around an hour. This may be a taster of what is offered during a longer session.

We are also looking for organisations who may want to collaborate with workshops. We have worked with some brilliant people so far and want to expand on these relationships.

If you are interested then please send us an email with a brief description of what you offer in workshops as well as your usual half day/ hourly fee.
