London Arts in Health Forum (LAHF) is a London-based networking organisation for health and arts professionals and health-related organisations.
The LAHF Newsletter is the best way to hear about our upcoming events, and to keep up-to-date with the latest news regarding arts and health in the London area and beyond.
This is not a very frequent newsletter, so you can only expect to hear from us about one per month.
Thanks to all the members who have booked up for the next LAHF event next Wednesday 11th July at Royal Brompton Hospital focusing on the innovative TRANSPLANT project.
Tim Wainwright (photography) and John Wynne (sound art) have now just completed a year-long residency at Harefield Hospital where they have interviewed and photographed 40 patients and relatives, and numerous members of staff.
The next LAHF event will take place on 11th July at Royal Brompton Hospital and will focus on the innovative TRANSPLANT project.
Wednesday 11th July
12.30pm start
Royal Brompton Hospital
A quick reminder that the next LAHF event takes place next week and is a tour of the South Kensington and Chelsea Mental Health Centre to explore the work of The Nightingale Project. The tour will include the current exhibition of works by one of the country’s most celebrated children’s illustrator’s Ian Beck and a chance to see over 40 works recently created specifically for the Centre’s older people’s ward by Quentin Blake.
LAHF is in the process of registering as a Company Limited by Guarantee and also as a Charity. These changes will make it easier for the organisation to raise funding and extend more services to members. This process is likely to be concluded in the next three months.
