Who Cares?

Renaissance North West, part of the DCMS's £300m Renaissance in the Regions programme, have announced a funded research brief to investigate the impact of Renaissance North West's ‘Who Cares? Health, Wellbeing and Museums programme'. Working with a number of museums and galleries in the North West, the successful applicant will compile comprehensive research to answer the question: what are the benefits to people's health and wellbeing of engaging with museum collections and gallery spaces?

Spitalfields Sculpture Prize

A £45,000 commissioning prize for an outdoor sculpture in Bishops Square, Spitalfields, London has been announced. The Prize is open to artists across the UK and the deadline for proposals is 1st September 2009.

Springforward Project Manager

The fourth Lambeth arts and mental wellbeing festival will take place from June culminating in a showcase event this autumn. The Springforward team are looking for a co-ordinator or organisation to set up the showcase event for Springforward. There is a budget of £7,000 including a fee of £3,000 for co ordination.

London Arts in Health Forum is looking to recruit a part time Administrator to support the Director in delivering a programme of events and information for LAHF members. The role requires excellent administration and communication skills, a keen interest in the arts and the ability to work proactively as a key part of a small team.

London and Southern Regions Curator

Paintings in Hospitals is seeking a full time Curator to ensure the effective and smooth running of its picture loan services. The role requires a minimum of two year’s experience working within a Curatorial or Art Administration role, experience of working within a small team, good written and numeracy skills and experience in both face to face and telephone customer service and offers a salary of £18,000 – £23,000p.a..

Health Development Worker

Age Concern Kensington and Chelsea is looking for a permanent full time Health Development Worker with an arts background and an interest in older people/ and or memory loss. 

The coordinator will oversee and ensure the provision of a range of initiatives under the My Memories Project and other Health Wise initiatives.

Artist Residency in Hampshire

Bristol Arts Programme Manager

North Bristol NHS Trust is looking to recruit to the new role of Arts Programme Manager to take over management of the Fresh Arts programme. A primary focus for the new role is the incorporation and delivery of art in the design and construction of North Bristol’s new C£450m hospital due to open in 2013/14.
